Campfire Rosary

Rain, rain, stay away from our campfire as we pray. Yes, we started our February campfire for the rosary with this great fire, and then the rain started. So, we ended the night in the gazebo, looking at the fire as the temperature got a bit cooler. Afterwards, we stood around the fire to warm up and enjoy each others company.
We prayed the Joyful Mysteries with meditations on the Holy Family and family life. As we say these meditations before each mystery, there is usually always some phrase that speaks to each of us. We can focus on the mystery or we can focus on each "Hail Mary". These prayers can slow us down and calm our hearts as we journey through the life of Jesus.
Our March campfire is coming up. The weather is warming up but rain may again be in the forecast. But please don't let that stop you from coming. It's nice to come together and pray. So bring a chair if you want to sit more comfortably. Just come and meet some fellow parishioners.
