Wow, another year is coming up, and Friday will be the first Friday of January and of the New Year. 2019 was not kind to us. It probably rained 4 or 5 months in that year to chase us into the gazebo and out from the fire. But we will continue with the Rosary with one change. For the next 3 months, we will hold the Rosary inside the church after Father's Healing Service. Since it's also dark at 7 PM, it will make it easier to see & read our Mystery Meditations. Okay, so we won't have the warmth of the fire, but we'll have light and warmth inside the Church. And it will only be through March. Once the time changes, we can go back outside for April.
The Knights of Columbus led the Rosary in October with great weather and great participation. Our November rosary fell on All Saints Day with cold and rain, so we cancelled. In December, I had a great fire going at 6:30 PM waiting for everyone, when the rain started at 7 to chase us to the gazebo.
So here we are at a new month and new year. Why not make our Campfire Rosaries one of your New Year's Resolutions. If you can make Father's Healing Mass and service at 5:30 PM, then stay for our rosary starting at 7 PM. We'll be saying the Joyful Mysteries with Pro-Life intentions. We've usually started the year with Pro-Life intentions since the Pensacola Walk-for-Life is in January. This year the Pensacola Walk-for-Life is January 11th.
So come and you'll have good seating and light. You'll have great company. You'll be saying the prayer Mary asked us to pray. And you'll be starting the new year with prayers.
